What People are Saying about SPSF NWA
From time to time we receive emails and notes from students and supporters. These accolades are just too good to keep to ourselves!
Here’s what we have received recently:
Thank you all for helping make dreams come true for me! I can’t adequately express how grateful I am. The scholarship funds each semester have been an amazing blessing. And the cash gift at Christmas was a wonderful surprise! My daughter is doing an extension semester in Iowa at this time, and really needed some clothes and supplies for sub-freezing temperatures. Your serendipitous check was an answer to prayers. Thanks again for doing what you do. I’m humbled by – and VERY thankful – for your generosity.
To the Staff, Directors & Community Leadership Council at Single Parent Scholarship Fund NWA:
How does one give proper thanks to the breath of air in their lungs, or the very elements that serve to sustain one’s being? That is how difficult I find writing what is only a simple note to convey my deepest gratitude for providing that for me – the ability to breathe again. Being awarded a scholarhip has offered so many benefits far beyond monetary worth that are of greater value to myself and my family merely for the fact that you awarded me hope. With the breath in me and quickening of spirit, I thank you!
I appreciate Carrie Montgomery for answering my many pestering email and Jody Dilday for meeting me for coffee, sharing the PRO Program opportunity with me as well as the many resources your organization has connections to that will help me along in my journey.
Thank you for seeing something in me that is worthwhile, it will be my honor to prove you right.
Most Sincerely, Amy Russell
The experience of working with you has been enjoyable to say the least. Single Parent Scholarship Fund is comprised of wonderful, caring people that make us proud to be from Northwest Arkansas.
You work so hard for such a gracious cause. We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of the Jingle Mingle event. It gave us an inside view of the passion you, and all involved in SPSF, demonstrate toward this community. We look forward to working with you on future events and would like to keep in touch from time to time.
Again, thanks for all that you do.
There are so many networking opportunities that the Single Parent Scholarship Fund provides. It is unreal! I think everyone should take full advantage of it, because it always helps to know people are rooting for you to succeed. Also, the panel interviews they have each semester helped me to be extremely confident in my job interview, which helped me stand out from the other candidates. Every aspect of SPSFNWA is designed to help you succeed with school and your future.
