Therapeutic Counseling

    • Current scholarship recipients and their children are referred to free or sliding fee behavior health services to address issues such as test anxiety, parenting, feelings of inadequacy, stress, sleeplessness, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and many more. Email Carrie Miller at carrie@spsfnwa.org for more information.

Licensed Therapist and SPSF BC graduate, Twyla Rownak, offers weekly counseling sessions to current scholarship recipients to address issues such as test anxiety, parenting, feelings of inadequacy, stress, sleeplessness, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and many more. Empower Series

The annual Empowerment Series are a collection of conference-style experiences jammed packed with resources for scholarship recipients and alumni.  The full-day Empower Summit includes resume and interview workshops, career coaching, financial planning, and a variety breakout sessions with area professionals and experts.

The Empower Series is a mini-conference that is held in the evening to allow for more time options.

The Empower Sessions is a collection of multiple workshops that are hosted throughout the year.
