Public School Districts:

WASHINGTON COUNTY

PRAIRIE GROVE PUBLIC SCHOOLS:
Our school buses will leave the bus lot at 11 a.m., run their regular bus routes, and deliver sack lunches and milk to any school-aged child.  Each sack lunch will contain items for that day’s lunch and breakfast. While buses will run their usual routes, the times that a bus gets to a bus stop will vary depending on previous stops.  Due to traffic considerations in some areas, buses will not be able to wait for very long if no students are present.

FAYETTEVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS:

UPDATE ON FPS STUDENT MEALS: “To best protect the health of students, families, and staff members through required social distancing and to comply with the Governor’s prohibition on gatherings of more than 10 people, Fayetteville Public Schools will offer a one-trip 10 meal pick up procedure for student meal service.

Ten (10) meals (5 breakfasts, 5 lunches) will be available each week per child 18 years of age and younger on Tuesday of each week while schools are closed. The USDA requires that the child be present to receive the meals. Meals are pre-packaged to last up to five days and should be consumed within 5 days. Meals will be loaded into the trunk of each car by FPS personnel to ensure everyone’s safety. Families should remain in their vehicles during meal pick up.

The FPS Outback will be open each Wednesday to serve families who need additional assistance with food, and local partner agencies will be available the remaining weekdays to aid with food and other needs.”
