Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA, located in Bentonville, is hiring a Senior Director of Philanthropy Strategy.

The Senior Director of Philanthropic Strategy is pivotal in planning, executing, and overseeing fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for the organization’s capital projects or major initiatives. This position requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in successful fundraising. The Senior Director of Philanthropic Strategy reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and will work closely and collaboratively with the philanthropy team, President and Chief Executive Officer, board members and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule

• Full Time: 40 Hours Weekly
Minimum of a 12-month contract with the opportunity for permanent extension
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (Work from Home on Friday)
• Occasional Evening Hours

General Position Description

The Behavior Health Counselor is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating counseling services and assessments for Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas, Inc. (SPSFNWA). This position will promote the personal development, psychological well-being, and other social needs of SPSFNWA scholarship recipients and recipient’s children. It will include individual and group counseling, training, consultation, crisis intervention, outreach, and assessment. This position may involve supervision of psychotherapists, interns, and/or support staff as well as formulation of counseling policies and procedures and will utilize area referral sources as needed.

Applicant Requirements

  • Applicants should hold an Advanced Degree and Arkansas License in one of the following areas:
    • Licensed Professional Counselor
    • Licensed Certified Social Worker 
  • Marriage and Family Therapist and/or Play Therapy Certifications are a bonus but not required

Work Schedule

  • Exempt Employee | Salary: 40 Hours Weekly
  • Office: Monday-Thursday
  • Friday: Work from Home or by Appointment in the Office
  • 8:00am-4:30pm with Occasional Evening Hours
  • Office Location: 2601 SW D Street, Bentonville, AR 72712

Salary Range (based on experience)

  • $71,000.00-81,000.00/ annually

Benefits Offered

  • Premium Arkansas Blue Cross/Blue Shield Health Insurance: 85% of the premium is paid by the organization, discounted, life, dental and vision also available. Spouse and dependent coverage are available at employees’ expense.
  • Retirement: 403(b) after the first 90 days, SPSFNWA will contribute to the employee’s 403(b) account, equivalent to 6% of the employee’s salary (even without a match from the employee)
  • 12 Paid Holidays
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Following the first 90 days, PTO includes combined vacation and sick leave time. PTO balance will be prorated based on the hire date (Jan-Jun: 30 days, July-Dec: 15 days). PTO allotment increases every four years by 5 days.
  • After a full-time employee has completed at least twelve (12) months of continuous service immediately preceding the birth, adoption, or placement of their child, they are eligible to receive 100% of their base salary for up to eight (8) weeks of paid time, per year, of maternity/paternity leave.
  • Bereavement, Jury/Witness Duty, and Military Leave- all observed.

Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA, located in Bentonville, is hiring an Administrative Specialist.

The Administrative Specialist is the organization’s first impression to the public, especially when guests visit or call the office. The Administrative Specialist will work closely with the organization’s senior leadership. This role may require but is not limited to, performing general clerical tasks, communicating with and greeting office guests, responding to phone calls and emails, handling mail and other correspondence, and managing office equipment and supplies.

Work Schedule

  • 32 Hours per week
  • Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • (Occasional Evening Hours)
