1/22/2011 KNWA story: Some very special single mothers get treated like queens for a day in Fayetteville. The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA and Ultra Salon and Studios partnered together for an event called Mom’s New Year. Three single mothers received a cut and color, manicure and makeup from Ultra Salon and then got to pick out a new outfit from Ultra Studios. Organizers say they wanted to do something special for the women who have the hardest job of all.
